TOWER London Announced as a Finalist in Drapers Independents Awards 2014

TOWER London has been announced as a finalist in the Best Store Design category of the Drapers Independents Awards 2014. The news came hot on the heels of being named Independent Footwear Retailer of the Year at the Drapers Footwear & Accessories Awards in May — making 2014 a landmark year for the business.

The prestigious ceremony takes place on 17th September at The Brewery, London. While TOWER operates three stores, it is the Wood Green flagship — open since April 2014 — that is in contention for the award. The concept was developed in partnership with retail specialists Kiwi Design and branding consultants I-Am Beyond.

The Drapers Independents Awards celebrate the best of Britain's independent retail community. For TOWER — then a growing three-store operation out of North London — reaching the shortlist was a significant milestone. The Wood Green store's bold design language, featuring concrete paving slabs, dark walls with yellow detailing and bespoke light screens, clearly caught the judges' attention.
