Where to Go This Friday Night

All you need to know about London’s hottest new club night.

What? Fed up of hearing the same music again and again? Then you’re going to like the sound of Quality Control. Set up by music journalist Semper Azeez-Harris and creative director Bernard Kordieh, Quality Control is a music platform that allows you to choose what tracks and artists are featured on their playlists as well as their club nights. Held at cult club space Proud Camden, their monthly Fridays are quickly becoming the events to be seen at and this month’s outing (on Friday 18th July) has already been tipped as one of Design My Night’s top picks for the week.

Where? Considering how varied Quality Control’s musical offering is, it seems very apt that the monthly currently takes place in Camden at Proud. A bastion of cultural cool, Proud is the perfect partner for this this musical maverick.

Anything else I need to know? This month sees a line-up including names to know Adrian Roye & The Exiles, OthaSoul, The Feud and Laurel (who has already been compared to the likes of Lana Del Rey, Lorde, Laura Marling). Doors open at 8pm and it’s free entry until 8.30pm (£10 afterwards but early bird tickets can bought in advance for only £5) and happy hour until 9.30pm. Click here to buy tickets.

Address: The Horse Hospital, The Stables Market, Chalk Farm Road, London, NW1 8AH
